- Odell Beckham Jr. is one of the best wide receivers in the NFL, but his off-field antics overshadow his game.
- Just look at his antics after LSU’s victory.
- He’s emulating Antonio Brown in all the wrong ways.
There was once a time when all any young wide receiver craved was to become the next Antonio Brown. And there was once a time when NFL analysts predicted that Odell Beckahm Jr. could be the next Antonio Brown.
Well, Beckham is finally starting to look a lot like AB. And that should terrify Cleveland Browns fans.
After the past 12 months, Antonio Brown is the last person any athlete should emulate. He’s become the definition of toxic. Wherever he goes, chaos and mayhem are never far behind.
It’s beginning to look like the same can be said about Odell Beckham Jr.
Odell Beckham Jr. Robs LSU Student-Athletes of the Spotlight
OBJ has always played the diva.
Whether it’s his one-handed catches during pregame, beating up and then proposing to the kicking net, or giving Tom Brady a unique pair of cleats after a game, he invariably finds a way to make every moment about himself.

It wasn’t shocking to see him at the game. He is an LSU alumnus, after all. But rather than let the kids enjoy their stunning victory, he made himself the center of attention by flaunting his wealth and blatantly violating NCAA regulations.
What he or anyone else thinks about the NCAA’s rules on compensating players doesn’t matter. He put the players and school in jeopardy be handing out cash. But he didn’t stop there.
Security had to escort him away from the band:
Then he slapped a police officer on the behind:
His behavior toward law enforcement might remind you of another mercurial wide receiver.
But that’s not all!
In another video, he talks about selling Justin Jefferson’s cleats for $200,000:
Then there was this:
This Doesn’t Look Good for Browns Fans
School officials claimed the money was fake, but according to Joe Burrow, that is not the case. So rather than enjoy the win as they should, LSU officials have to conduct an investigation, and the school could face sanctions.
Because Odell Beckham Jr. had to inject himself into the celebration and do whatever he felt like doing, with no regard for the consequences.
Just like a diva – and certainly like Antonio Brown.
